Order Process Overview

JandalPrecision.com sells two types of products. We sell "Non-FFL" products and "FFL" products.

"Non-FFL" products are all non-controlled products, such as optics, clothing, etc. These items can be shipped directly to you.

"FFL" products are all restricted and controlled items, such as firearms, and require you receive the items directly from a FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee).

When placing an order with JandalPrecision.com, your order will be divided into a "Non-FFL Products" order and a "FFL Products" order.

Non-FFL Products Order

The "Non-FFL Products" order will ship directly to the shipping address you enter during checkout. During checkout, you will be able to select the shipping method (UPS Overnight, UPS 2nd Day, or UPS Ground). The selectable shipping charges will be calculated, based on weight, delivery zip-code, and the type of service you select. Your credit card will be charged at the conclusion of your checkout.

FFL Products Order

All firearms for sale on JandalPrecision.com can be sold to the public. Because of laws and regulations, there are a few extra steps required. We have made it easy and efficient to make your online firearm purchase.

Here are the basic steps to order your firearm from JandalPrecision.com.:

1. Order your firearm from our online store (Your credit card is NOT charged at this time).
2. Contact a local FFL and arrange for them to conduct the transfer (you can find an FFL in your area from our website).
3. Your local FFL faxes, emails or mails a signed copy of their license to us.
4. We process your order (including charging your credit card) and ship your firearm to your local FFL. You pick your firearm up there.

The details of the above four steps are discussed below. (These steps apply only to firearms sales. These steps are usually not required for Black Powder, air rifles, air pistols, stun-guns, and non-firearms. There are exceptions; some states require these FFL steps for Black Powder - these states are listed at the bottom of this section. For purchasing airguns, airsoft and stun guns, scroll down for more information.)

We cannot ship your FFL products (i..e. firearms) directly to you. We must ship your firearm to a FFL near you. Your local FFL will then transfer ownership to you after filling out the required state and local paperwork. Therefore, we will wait to process your order until you let us know who you have chosen for your local FFL. Of course, you can receive your firearm directly from us, here in Winters, Texas, if you are legal to purchase a firearm in Texas.

Yes, we ship to California. We are approved thru the California Firearms Licensee Check (CFLC) system as well as being a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol Firearms and Tobacco (BATF).

We do not ship firearms out of the United States. We do not have a firearms export license.

The detail steps to follow for ordering a FFL product (i.e. firearm) are:

Order your firearm online using our secure shopping cart. Or, give us a call for personal service. During the checkout process, you may fill in the name, address and phone number of your local FFL, who will receive your firearm and then transfer it to you.

If you don't know a local FFL in your area, put a comment in your order form, or call us, and we will help you locate one near you. We also have a link on our website to help you find a local FFL. Most sporting goods stores will provide this service for a small fee. Also, pawn shops, gun clubs, shooting ranges, etc. may provide this service to you.

Please Note: We do not charge your credit card for FFL Products until we have received your local FFL information.

Next, fax , email (.PDF or JPEG) or mail us a signed FFL (Federal Firearms License) from your local FFL. Our fax number is (325) 238-9300 - our Email is FFL@JandalPrecision.com. We must receive a signed copy. Please have your dealer note on the FFL - your name - so that we can match up the FFL with your order. This is all standard procedure for your local FFL. It is also customary for your dealer to charge you a paperwork fee (average $25.00 - $50.00 or more in some urban areas) to receive the firearm/firearms for you. Most dealers will provide this service. If not, you should find another FFL!

Please be sure the dealer knows the firearm is coming. Give them our web address, www.JandalPrecision.com in Winters, Texas. Our contact information appears on the bottom of every page on our web site.

Your credit card will be billed after we receive your local FFL's information. Then, your firearm will be prepared for shipment to your local FFL.

If your product has gone out of stock due to the delay in receiving your local FFL's information, we will not bill your credit card until the product is in stock, and we will notify you that a delay has occurred, plus our ETA (estimated time of arrival) for your product.

We will send you an email when the firearm ships. You will receive the UPS tracking number for your package. (For more information, See Shipping/Handling Costs & Times below.)

Terms And Conditions Of Sale

We have a No Returns policy on all firearms and black powder rifles. So, please make sure you want the firearm that you order before you place your order. If you have any questions about the product as it is described on our site or the manufacturer's site, contact us before placing your order.

Controlled Items - Check Your Local Laws and Before Ordering

Some states and localities have prohibitions that prevent us from shipping some items there. You can scroll down to read restrictions on the following items:

Black Powder "Non-Firearms"
Air Guns and Airsoft/SoftairGuns - "Non Firearms"
Stun Guns - "Non Firearms"
Ammunition and Pellets/BBs
High Capacity Magazines

We follow all state and local laws, ordinances and restrictions, and therefore we do not ship everything we sell to all states. Below are some examples of restrictions. However, laws change all the time, so please check your local restrictions before placing your order.

We have no control over the laws in your state or city, and we reserve the right to refuse your order. If you place an order for an item prohibited for sale in your place of residence, your order will be cancelled immediately. If your credit card has already been billed, it will be credited, and you will not receive the product(s). Obviously, controlled items including hicap mags must be shipped to the same address as the customer's credit card billing address.

Please Know Your Local Laws and Ordinances

It is the responsibility of the buyer and user, not JandalPrecision.com, to understand your local and state laws before placing an order. If you are unsure of your state's laws pertaining to any products you want to order, you should consult local or state authorities to be certain you are not breaking any laws.

Black Powder "Non-Firearms"

Black Powder muzzleloaders are not defined as "firearms" by the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (BATF). Therefore, these can be shipped directly to the purchaser and do not require sale through a FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) in most states.

However, there are some states with restrictions:
Residents of HI, IL, MA, MI, NJ, and NY please check your local laws for restrictions before ordering any Black Powder firearm.

All black powder/muzzleloader orders from the states of MI, IL & NJ, or shipping to the states of MI, IL & NJ, must be placed through an FFL.

In these states, please follow our instructions in the section of this page titled How to Buy Firearms.

Air Guns and Airsoft/Softair Guns - "Non Firearms"

Please check your local laws and ordinances before ordering, because we sell these items only where legal. Sales of air rifles, bb guns or CO2 powered pistols and rifles are restricted in many states and municipalities. We are sorry but we can not continually update this page with all the changes in rules, laws and ordinances. Therefore, when we receive your order, we check the database of restrictions that is compiled and updated by our distributors, and if your locality is restricted, we will notify you and your card will not be charged, or credited if it has already been charged. Therefore, if you would like to buy an air rifle, bb gun or CO2 powered pistol or rifle, go ahead and place your order, and then we will notify you if the order can not be filled.

A few AirGuns - Airsoft/Softair Guns restrictions are listed below:

Residents of New York City and its boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, these zip codes are: 100xx-104xx, 110xx, 112xx-114xx, 116xx) cannot buy bb guns, air guns or Airsoft/Soft Air guns from us.

Special conditions for New York zip code 115xx and Baltimore, MD, you can purchase bb guns, air guns or Airsoft/Soft Air; however, we need a copy of your driver's license to prove you are over 18 years of age. You can fax it to 325-238-9300, or use the email link at the bottom of this page to request instructions for how to email us an image of your license (.jpg, .gif, .bmp or .pdf).

Special conditions for Michigan residents, .177 caliber air rifles and smooth bore air pistols can be purchased and will be shipped directly to you. No air pistols (other than smooth bore) of any caliber can be sold to you unless the proper permits are issued by the State and local authorities. According to Michigan law Sec. 222. As used in this chapter: (b) "Firearm" means a weapon from which a dangerous projectile may be propelled by an explosive, or by gas or air. Firearm does not include a smooth bore rifle or handgun designed and manufactured exclusively for propelling by a spring, or by gas or air, BB's not exceeding .177 caliber. Therefore, Michigan residents, if you would like to purchase something other than a .177 caliber air rifle, we will ship it to you, however you will have to follow the steps below:

1. Place your order on JandalPrecision.com, but then you must...
2. Find a participating dealer/retailer and let us know where to ship your gun. The item will be shipped to the designated dealer/retailer in your area. Your job is to find a dealer for us to ship to. To do so...
3. Go to your local police department to obtain a Permit to Purchase the airgun. Each airgun purchase must have a separate Permit.
4. After the Permit is issued to you by the Police take it to the gun store where your gun will be shipped.
5. After the Permit is presented to the store and the fee is paid they will hand over the airgun to you.
6. Take the airgun back to the police department, where they will conduct a safety check and ballistics test.
7. After it is determined that the gun is safe and tests are conducted you will be ready to take the airgun home.

Stun Guns "Non Firearms"

No stun gun sales to New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Hawaii. Please check your local laws for restrictions before ordering, because we do not ship where not allowed.

Restrictions on Sales and Ownership of Pepper Sprays

We update this list whenever possible. Please realize that your state or city ordinances may differ from this list. If you have questions, contact your local authorities for verification. Please check your local laws for restrictions before ordering, because
Arkansas: Size restriction (Shall not exceed 50 cubic centimeters)
California: Size restriction (Maximum weight is 2.5 ounces); Age restriction (Must be 16 years old to possess); Labeling restriction (Warning language must appear on the label and an expiration date must appear on the canister)
District of Columbia: Age restriction (Must be 18) Labeling restriction (Expiration date must be on each unit)
Florida: Size restriction (Designed to fit in a woman's handbag or man's pocket and containing not over 1/2 oz chemical)
Hawaii: Honolulu: OC ONLY is legal. Age restriction (Must be 18). Size restriction (1/2 oz); Licensing requirement (Current legislation pending to re-establish the legality/illegality of these products in Hawaii.)
Illinois: Age restriction (Must be 18)
Massachusetts: residents may only purchase defense sprays from FFL's in that state.

Ammunition and Pellets/BBs

We do not sell ammunition to Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington DC, Illinois or Massachusetts. Residents of DE, DC, IL, MA, NY and OH, please check your local laws for restrictions before ordering. Please avoid disappointment and do not order ammo if it is not allowed in your locality, because we do not ship where not allowed.

High Capacity Magazines

Hi Cap mags are those with over 10 rounds.
No sales of Hi Cap mags to California or Hawaii.
No sales of pistol Hi Cap mags to New York or Massachusetts. (However, rifle Hi Cap mags are OK to sell to these states.)

Shipping & Returns Information

We charge for UPS or US Post Office shipping to your location from ours (Winters, Texas 79567) or the warehouse where your order ships from (Texas or Arizona, in most cases). There is a $5 handling fee per order.

When your order ships, you receive an email message with the UPS tracking number and instructions for how to track your order's delivery progress. (Please scroll up on this page to the Ordering Help section for details about Tracking Your Orders.)

Sorry No International Shipping

After investigating the multitude of import prohibitions and tariffs (unique even within EU countries) we have concluded that it's simply not possible for us to ship any items with an assurance that they will arrive at the buyer's address in another country. Additionally, customs charges are ever changing. We simply don't know how to automate charging the ever-changing customs fees. For these reasons, we are currently not shipping internationally.

Our Return/Cancellation Policy

Please read the entire return policy before making your purchase or contacting us about returns. Please call us with any questions you may have. Scroll to the bottom of this page for our phone number.

Any return of a purchased product is at the sole discretion of JandalPrecision.com. Returns are processed on a case-by-case basis, and the item must be unopened & unused in the original package. This is because we must be able to resell the item as a new item.

Most orders ship within 24 hours, therefore for the purpose of this policy, Cancellations are the same as Returns. (See Additional Return Policy Information Regarding Cancellations at the bottom of this section for details.)

We do not guarantee that you can return all items. Absolutely No Returns on firearms, black powder guns and accessories, airguns and airgun accessories, ammunition, parts, and apparel (including but not limited to gloves, belts, glasses, ear muffs, ear plugs, backpacks, knee pads, protective vests).

If an item was damaged in shipment, it is the customer's responsibility to initiate a shipping damage claim from the shipper: UPS or US Post Office. We will provide information about how to initiate a claim, upon request. However, we do not prepay shipping damage claims, because this is a matter between the recipient and the shipping company.

If we agree to return an item, a restocking fee may be applied before refunding your payment. Our restocking fee is a minimum of 25% - 50% of the price you paid for the item, with a minimum of $15. (In the case of items correctly described on our Web pages, such as when a customer purchases an accessory item that clearly is not specified to fit their firearm, restocking fee can be as high as 50% in these cases.) This is necessary to cover the costs of acquiring, shipping and reselling items that have been returned. Therefore, please make sure you have answered all your pre-sales questions and that you want an item before placing your order for it. We do not refund initial shipping charges or return shipping charges.
We do not refund shipping. However, if for some exception at our discretion we agree to reimbuse or refund shipping charges, the reimbursed amount can not exceed the original shipping amount on your order. For example, if you have the UPS Store repackage and ship your item, or if you decide to ship via expedited rates, we do not reimburse the additional charges over and above the shipping you paid on your original order.

Items can only be returned within 30 days of date-of-delivery. Important: You must request a return authorization before returning your item, or the package will be refused.

All manufacturers' warranties, restrictions and conditions apply to the items you purchase. This means that any defects in manufacturing or damage in shipping will be covered by the manufacturers' warranty. In case of manufacturers' defects and warranty repairs, JandalPrecision.com will provide instructions for contacting the manufacturer.

In the case of shipping damage, we will process a shipping claim with the shipper (United Parcel Service or US Post Office, and you will be refunded upon settlement or earlier, depending on the conditions of your loss (decided on a case-by-case basis).

Additional Return Policy Information Regarding Cancellations

When you click on the final order form button that says "Click here to submit your order" you will see an important message next to the button. "(Clicking this button is your authorization for us to charge your credit card & ship your items as per the time period specified on the product page. This is a legal agreement to pay for the products you have purchased. Cancelled orders are subject to our limited return policy as detailed on our help page.)". This message means that your order is immediately subject to our Return Policy described above on this page. Since orders can be processed and shipped within a few minutes or hours, "cancellations" are defined as "returns" and treated the same as "returns" and as the message states, "Cancelled orders are subject to our limited return policy."

The security of your personal information is very important to us. We never give, sell or rent your personal information to any third parties under any circumstances. We value your trust very highly, and will work to protect the security and privacy of any personal information you provide to us and will only use it as we have described in our Privacy Policy.

We want you to feel completely secure when ordering from JandalPrecision.com. We use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts (or encodes) sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet.

What Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide voluntarily when using the JandalPrecision.com web site. This information includes your email address and a password when you register to create your JandalPrecision.com account. You can browse our online store without registering, but you will need to register when you purchase something, so that we can process and ship your order. We may also ask for personal information when you contact our Help Desk. This will allow us to protect your confidentiality by verifying your identity.

JandalPrecision.com does not intentionally collect personal information about children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 and would like to shop at JandalPrecision.com, please ask a parent or guardian for assistance.

Purchase Information

When you make a purchase using a credit card, we collect your name, your billing address for the card, the card type, number, and expiration date. We collect this information in order to bill you for your purchase. We also collect information that allows us to ship your order. This includes the name, address, and phone number of the intended recipient(s).

When you become a registered user of JandalPrecision.com, we save your billing information in your account. We also save your shipping address in your account.

Cookies and Other Computer Information

When you visit JandalPrecision.com, you will be assigned a temporary cookie (a small text file) to be stored on your computer's hard drive. The purpose of the cookie is to identify you when you visit our site, so you can put items in your shopping cart and place your order.

JandalPrecision.com has also obtained a digital certificate from GoDaddy.com., a leading provider of Internet trust services. When you enter a secure portion of our site (which is any page containing any of your personal information), an image of a closed lock, or a solid key should appear in the top or bottom bar of your browser window (depending on the type and version of browser you are using). If you click on this image, a small popup window displaying site-security information will appear. This certificate guarantees that your personal information is being transmitted in secure (encrypted) form to a JandalPrecision.com Web server, not to some unknown or unauthorized server.
Ultimately, your personal information is protected by the password you created when you registered for an account at JandalPrecision.com (or another password you chose after changing a previous password). Please keep this password confidential. The confidentiality of your password is yours to protect.

Changes to the JandalPrecision.com Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been in effect since it was first posted on JandalPrecision.com on August 16, 2009. We reserve the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. If we make any significant change to this policy, we will post notice of the change on JandalPrecision.com for a period of at least six months after the change is implemented.
